Episode 62: Godzilla, a Queer Icon?

Happy Pride month again from the Macabrecast! We are getting into a great pride month topic which, of course, involves monster theory, Godzilla, and gender. Holly will walk us through the historical contexts around the original Godzilla movies and then we will get to why we are really here. We will be talking about the many theories about what Godzilla's gender is and talking about what the significance of that conversation is.

Happy Pride month from your Macabrecast crew! As we celebrate the history of queer activists, we also want to get into another kind of history. Brooke will be telling us all about the origins and history behind the word queer, including a discussion around why some folks within the LGBTQIA+ community choose to use it and why others choose not to.
