Episode 12: Bog Bodies Everywhere

Welcome to the first episode using our new format! This week, listen in as Holly covers the history and science of Bog Bodies and get ready for Brooke's episode next week. These Bog Bodies have been found all over northern Europe and each tells its own unique tale from thousands of years ago. Holly will go over some examples and we will delve into the bog to see what else we find.

You'll be as haunted as the house was after learning about Theodore Coneys, the man in the attic. After that, listen in to part two where Brooke will be talking about another possible true crime case from Britain. She will be covering the mysterious disappearances of two English Princes from the Tower of London.

Yet again, we had to split our episode into two parts! In part I, join Brooke on an expedition through the Gobi desert in search of the Mongolian Death Worm! These may not be real, but they sure are well sought out. In part II, Holly deep-dives into the werewolf trials throughout Europe. We'll learn about the accused, the acquitted, and those who were most likely serial killers.

Then, Brooke tells us about all thirteen of the Yule Lads, their parents, and their incredibly large cat. Get ready for many mischievous happenings and terrifying holiday traditions.

Here's your first two-part episode, because we can't seem to shut up about these stories! In Part I, Brooke takes us on a historical journey to the Martha Washington Hotel. Get ready for the saddest story about a horse you've ever heard. In Part II, Holly puts all Hungarian name pronunciation to rest. Enjoy her deep dive into the blood soaked life of Erzsebet Bathory (commonly known as, Elizabeth Bathory).
